Last training night with EMT Firefighter Kenna Barnes moving on to Anacortes Fire Department. We all wish her well and she will be missed.

District 13 & La Conner

This training was for forcible entry on the new door that Skagit Fire District 13 and La Conner Fire Department all bought together. Captain Chris Olbu and La Conner also had instruction on chainsaw usage.

September Trainings 2023

Training at the CARES drill at the Marathon Refinery. Always exciting to work with real fire. That’s Skagit Fire 13 in the Black.

The countywide MCI drill was attended by Skagit Fire District 13. A simulated airplane crash was very realistic and gave us all a chance to see what a real airplane disaster and multi casualty incident would be like. A real “thank you” to District 6 and the Port of Skagit for setting it up. Over 10 different agencies showed up.
